Daikin Altherma™

Transforms Unutilized Energy Into Usable Heat

daikin1daikin2b

Daikin Altherma is an all-in-one, all year round heating, cooling and domestic hot water supply solution that transforms unutilized energy from the outside air into usable heat for total home comfort.

As an alternative heating solution, Daikin Altherma is 3 to 5 times more energy efficient than using a conventional fossil fuel boiler. Instead of burning fuel, like conventional fossil-fuel boilers, heat pumps extract the latent heat energy present in the ground, air or water. The Daikin Altherma air-to-water system is capable of extracting sufficient heat from the outside air to comfortably heat a home, even on the coldest days - as low as -4ºF.
The heat pump can also be sized to provide full heating capacity on its own or can be connected to (existing) fossil-fuel boilers to optimize energy efficiency. Connection to other alternative energy sources such as solar energy for warm water production is also possible, reducing both CO2 emissions and operating costs.
