Cork Countertops

Suberra, made from the remainder of the cork bark after being plugged for the wine industry, is typically used for work surfaces, kitchen counters and countertops.

Suberra is light weight, anti-bacterial and sound dampening with no urea formaldehyde added. The raw material is culled from the bark of the Cork Oak tree every nine years. New outer skin grows quickly to protect the remaining inner bark. From these trees' natural defenses, Suberra gains its anti-microbial qualities and its resistance to water and heat.
