Furniture can be recycled - the cherry MDF ordered for a bookcase came in sheets that created waste . . . which became the materials for a mobile, stacked cart.

Items Used:
Low VOC paint  •  Desk: recycled wood chips in an acrylic polymer & reused conference table base  •  Lamp: adjustable CRI LED light, vase from consignment shop  •  Artwork Above: recycled paper and found objects  •  Mobile Cart: cherry MDF constructed with materials left over from a large bookcase project  •  Wood Mantle: loose paint scraped, then varnished with low-VOC polyurethane product  •  On Mantle: wrought iron finials recycled as decorative objects, purchased at consignment shop with compact fluorescent light fixture
