An all-in-one, year round heating, cooling and domestic hot water supply solution, Daikin Altherma™ transforms unutilized energy from the outside air into usable heat.

Daikin Altherma is an innovative alternative heating and domestic hot water solution that is 3 to 5 times more energy efficient than using conventional fossil fuel systems. The air-to-water heat pump system maximizes comfort and energy savings by capitalizing on Daikin's technological strengths. Additionally, Daikin Altherma features a space cooling ability not common with traditional heating systems.

Daikin Altherma consists of 2 main components (outdoor unit and hydrobox) that can be combined with optional accessories such as a hot water tank and solar thermal kit. For space heating, Daikin Altherma provides low temperature water (up to 131°F) that can be utilized for under floor heating, fan convectors, fan coil units and many other home comforts such as towel rails.

Newly added systems cover smaller load requirements from 18,000 Btu/hr to 54,600 Btu/hr heating capacity and are specifically targeting multi-family applications as well as offering a cost effective solution for partial or complete renovations of existing homes. The air-to-water heat pump's outdoor units can be conveniently located on a balcony, which makes the system applicable low-rise as well as high-rise multi-tenant buildings.
