GTN Publications adds public relations to its client offerings!

Charlotte, NC — As part of its commitment to providing comprehensive information resources for the design and building industries, GTN Publications (GTN) announces a new service for its clients: public relations, specifically the writing of media releases.

GTN operates two online repositories of information, products and ideas—Green Thinker Network and GTN Building Materials—and according to John Casson, operations manager of GTN Publications, the new service has been welcomed by clients.

“Some of our clients have neither communications professionals on staff, nor do they retain PR agencies,” said Casson. “We are always looking to add value to our client relationships, and providing a media-release service via GTN will spread the word about new products and innovative building methods to a wider audience.”

Seasoned communications professional, Nick Hart, has been retained by GTN to head a team of public relations specialists who will work with GTN clients. An award-winning communications writer on both sides of the Atlantic, Hart most recently owned and operated a Charlotte, NC-based advertising agency, Cotton and Crown. Previously, he worked for First Union (now Wells Fargo) in Charlotte, Visa International in London, England and advertising agencies in both this country and London.

“I have worked with Nick for many years,” said GTN Managing Director, Billie Colley. “He has always impressed me with his ability to translate seemingly complex concepts into easily understandable language. Whenever a client has news worth sharing with the GTN community, I know that Nick and his team will disseminate the information quickly and effectively.”

Clients of both GTN requiring media-release composition should contact Billie Colley at tg-network.com. Releases will be published via GTN’s newsletters and blogs to ensure the widest possible audience.
